I am one of the co-captains on my college swimming team. I have consistently been a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and All-MIAA for all four years of my college swimming career. I was recently mentioned in a school press release regarding senior honors. In 2004 our team won both the women's and the men's MIAA inter-collegiate swimming championships. Hope Wins MIAA Womens Swimming Championship 2003  I have had four wonderful years at Hope College in Holland, Michigan where I have been on the womens swimming team.

Our team won the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Womens Swimming Championships in my freshman year. The photo at the right shows how we felt after winning the championship! I was chosen as one of the swimmers on the All-MIAA Womens Swim Team and also won a place on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Meagan with her high school swim team  The photo at the left shows me with my swim team at Troy High School.   I graduated with honors from Troy High School in June of 2002 and my cousin Debbie's husband Blake did a great job mounting some family photos.

I have volunteered as part of the support crew for the 3 Day Breast Cancer fund raiser in Michigan this year.

I really enjoy creative writing. An example of my work is my short story, The Blanket.
