The Six Best Books in Obstetrics and Gynecology
If you were maruned on a desert island and could only take six textbooks for your work in their womens health care clinic here's are the books you should grab:
- The Red Book, Pediatric Reference Book on Infectious Diseases, American Academy of Pediatrics, 2010
- Drugs in Pregnancy and Lactation
- Clinical Gynecologic Endocrinology and Infertility
- Clinical Gynecologic Oncology
- Williams Obstetrics
- The Merck Manual
Although I don't care particularly for their radical left editorial articles in the front of their journal their original clinical research articles are wonderful and many deal with topics in our field and that's why I offer you a recommendation to read the NEJM online as an OB-Gyn resource.
