Return to Italy
On February 16th at 6:00 p.m. at the Seattle Tennis Club we
presented a set of videos showing photographs we took in Rome
and Venice with Italian food, Italian wine and Italian music

Writing in his book Italian Journey of his time
spent in Rome in 1788 Johann Wolfgang von Goethe wrote, "The
paintings are like friends with whom one has long been
acquainted through correspondence and now sees face to face 
for the
first time."
Henry Morton wrote in his A Traveler in Rome in 1957, "It is the singular charm of Rome that, turning a corner, one comes suddenly face to face with something beautiful and unexpected that was placed there three centuries ago, apparently in the most casual fashion. Rome is a city of magic around the corner."

We will be joining Julie
McDaniel and her Ace Tennis Vacations
group for another of her great spring tennis camps in Palm
Desert, California this year. At Ace tennis camps the sun is
always shining and the ball always lands inside the lines!
